Anybody read this novel?
It looked so promising but I didn't find it that great, it lacked in depth in my humble opinion. I felt it was written for a movie adaptation (its numerous visual descriptions are stunning).

"The circus arrives without warning. It is simply there, when yesterday it was not.
The towering tents are striped in white and black, no golds and crimsons to be seen. A black sign painted in white letters hangs upon the gates.
"Opens at Nightfall. Closes at Dawn.""

Do you know this song? I didn't!
I have listened to lots of duets with Johnny Cash (thanks to the Unearthed album) but never encountered this one.
I'm smitten.
